Turn the quest into group quest and make the party random like potd, would get more people through and lower the number of instances.

Im not sure OP realizes how easy it is to tell everyone to sit down and shut up while they are lucky enough to enjoy the new content. To those who cannot explore/hunt/craft/glamour farm/experience the new story, saying "stop crying because IM having fun" is just more fuel for the fire lol
Unfortunately there is no "cap" on the amount of frustration thousands of players can experience, so the "devs" are really only aware of the problem inasmuch as people continue to loudly express their dissatisfaction.
"Cutting some slack" isn't going to help anything.
I am upset at the general lack of detailed communication. While we are doing "early access" and we should expect -some- things to be broken, we are still paying for a service that is broken. This is eating my subscription time to attempt to get into this fight just to try to continue through an MSQ. Just because I can do something else, my major enjoyment is lore and story and I am unable to receive the entertainment service that I did pay for.
Just to clarify, I understand that there were communications, and I appreciate them wholeheartedly but the communications are rather slow and not frequent enough for me as a consumer to feel like they are doing something about the issue.
The EULA cover some of this stuff and we have fewer rights than you think, is similar to ISP.They advertised early access, made you pay for early access, people have a right to early access, and if SE does not provide what they promised, people have a right to be angry. What you don't have a right to do is tell people how to feel, no matter how you state it. You are preaching nothing but ignorance and arrogance if you feel the need to tell people how they should feel or how they should deal with their anger.
I understand why people is angry and you are free to complain, however, just by using FFXIV and his past releases as guideline problems were bound to happen.
Fight the good fight, not the wrong one.
