    Possible solutions to the instanced battle problems

    It's been several hours since we heard any updates, and people are getting more and more frustrated. I think it's time to either remove the solo instance content temporarily, or make it so people have to queue for the solo instance stuff like any other duty in the game. That would at least allow people to go do other things, like fates, gathering, or at least explore around, opposed to sitting in a single spot for hours upon hours spam clicking an npc.

    Unfortunately, asking a playerbase of millions to "try again later" isn't an answer, all that tells us is "It's the players' fault, deal with it yourselves"(weather it's true or not, it doesn't matter, this is how it is coming off to the majority of players at the moment).

    Please implement a way to either skip this content, or allow us to queue up for it so there's a line formed.

    At the very least there needs to be more communication. I get the dev team is slammed and drowning in the issues, but there needs to be 1 person coming to the forums, or posting on the special news section every few hours with at least a message telling the playerbase that we're not forgotten, that the dev team is still working hard on a resolution. Even a simple "We're working towards a resolution" message of some kind every 3-5 hours would be greatly appreciated by the many thousands upon thousands of people trapped right now

    I agree!

    They really need to add in a queue of some kind like there are for dungeons, in order for people to get through the fight at a steady pace without spamming the NPC. Give us a queue, we get our number in line and can still go do fates, or run around the zone, or SOMETHING other than just click, click, 90k!

    By the time this is implemented the problem won't exist anymore. For future content, sure, but this will not fix this current issue in the slightest.

    It needs to be addressed before actual launch though. Adding a queue to these quests can't be that difficultr. And then when a queue isn't necessary, it'll just pop immediately. Exactly like doing a guildhest.

    Telling us try again later makes trying to get into this a lottery system. It is absurd. I'd rather wait in a 30 minute queue and KNOW my turn is coming up, than be praying to RNG that maybe just this once, after manually clicking for hours, I'll actually get in. Just to disconnect for one reason or another and spend an hour in queue trying to get back on.

    Or as suggested, an option to skip this or put it on pause to do later. It's not like these duties are a trial or test to see how good we are. They are easy and simply there for our enjoyment to the story telling. Either way thousands of people aren't enjoying the story by being forced to wait for this. The purpose of the duty is lost then. I'd rather watch a cutscene of this fight over click Raubahn for hours.

    Didn't realise this suggestion forum was for the game as well as the website. (: I agree with this. I posted a queue suggestion on the general discussions that elaborates the "how/functionality" of it, but I'll re-post it here if you don't mind:


    [Add] an actual queue (alike to the log-in queue where it gives one their placement # that updates in intervals of #)... If possible, it should be able to run in the background (with no instances/DF running simultaneously) so we can still do the wondrous grind of fates while we wait. When it's finally our turn, we can instance in. If we miss our turn, we have to get back in queue.
    Even if we have to wait for our queue for... a couple of hours, I think it's better than standing around Raubahn, spam clicking him, going off to find some way to entertain/level ourselves (seen a level 65 waiting for Raubahn, level 60+ RDMs and SAMs in the fringes already), return to Raubahn, then repeat the cycle.

    Edit: Also seconding that this needs to be address by the official launch, because it'll be even more Hellish than now.
