314 Samurai + 314 Paladin looking for static group (Free Companies only)

We're both 314 and experienced players getting back into FFXIV raiding with Omega.

Short edit: The Paladin wanted me to add a note that he's willing to switch as needed.


What we're looking for: A midcore-ish static group that has motivation to succeed and improve their own abilities, but ultimately plan to enjoy the social and progression aspect of raiding as well. We're from a time of raiding where it wasn't all about clearing every "wing" in one week. If that's how things are going, great! But if we wipe or need a couple pieces of gear or to work on the mechanics a bit more, then that's fine too.

Times we're looking for: The Paladin is able to raid three nights a week for two hours a night or two nights a week for three hours a night. Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays are the best days, where Wednesday is tough to swing and weekends are usually reserved for spending time with his wife and family.

Times are somewhat negotiable, but his best start times are 7 PM PST, as it's easier to ensure that he is home from work and done cooking without running into raid time. Earlier is a possibility, too.

What we offer: We have a lot of raid experience; in 2.0 and 2.1 we were in a high level Behemoth guild clearing T5 weekly until our group ended up facing burnout. We stopped raiding on Final Fantasy for a long time and came back for brief spouts of time, but back when we were on Behemoth open slots were mostly dry.

We're both mechanically sound and when we make a mistake we seek to rectify them instead of excuse them. We're very self-critical and always trying to improve ourselves, no matter how much time we spend on dummies or otherwise grinding out our skill.

We would love to be a part of a group again and offer what we can to them, and commit to bringing our best game no matter the circumstances.
