Don't get me wrong, you all have every right to be upset, hell, I want to play the game I paid for too! But the extremes people are taking it to is just inexcusable..
So you work in customer service. Lets not get into where, lets go over some customer service problems I have had. I had a cable problem, I missed a show I wished to watch just one show. Customer service was unable to get me that show they kind rewind time. What do you think compensation was? It was two months free. One show from a $3 channel equals two months 300 dollars. I actually asked for an apology and didn't want the credit. Company policy is not to issue any real apology besides a sorry you are having issues. I have gotten bad off at a restaurant, that has equaled the meal free extra drinks and gift cards.

We are not talking a day or two compensation. We are talking the equivalent of a full refund with allowing you to keep the expansion. This is again not some unforeseen issue. You sell X preorders you need to have X amount of instances if you instance the GATE. If the response had been "We are sorry people have preorders will be appropriately compensated." Appropriate is not in game but in realtion to how it affects you in real life. Not "Stop playing, try again later." Maybe the hate wouldn't have reached the boil it is at.
