Yes it is considered silence now, as it has been a long time since that release, meaning it is not enough, we need more communication or better yet let us bypass this quest!
How dare people expect to be able to consume the product they have paid for.
The amount paid is irrelevant and it's not even a technicality. Early Access is not dissociable from our Stormblood purchase. It was one of the features included with our purchase and as such we paid for it, pure and simple. As such, we paid for something that not only does not work (and don't tell me it works because you can log in, being locked out of 99% of the expansion content isn't working) but is also limited in its available time.
Yeah it's a big mess and if this doesn't shame SE / Yoshi then nothing will. The amount paid is irrelevant and it's not even a technicality. I would love to try out Samurai and Red Mage, except that since instances are borked, so I can't.
I LIKE the fence. I get 2 groups to laugh at then.
In some respects, absolutely. The servers came up on time and while there was some instability, SE seems to have mostly resolved that. Most parts of the game seem to work properly and I haven't encountered any real bugs yet. That there are login queues is a product of how many people are wishing to play.
However, even if it's not technically broken, the bottleneck that exists at Raubahn and Pippin makes the expansion practically unplayable. If it were just the MSQ, that would be bad enough, but all of our DoH and DoL are locked behind this as well, because you're limited to the first couple of zones by physical gates until later. This means that even attempting to occupy yourself with things like leveling crafters and gathers is relatively painful, as the XP quickly drops off, mats become unavailable, and you can't even get to many of the class quests. Somewhat paradoxically, I would say the launch overall has been quite smooth, yet the game remains mostly unplayable.
not even going to acknowledge your terrible analogy? in what burger line do we have to constantly be doing something to stay in line. in what burger line does the person in the front not get to go in first? in what burger line does someone who line up 10 hours after someone else get to go in before you? in what burger line is there another line that's exactly like it 30 minutes later? in what burger line is there a threat of a boatload of people getting dumped on the same line with them in 4 days and all of those people can get in before them?
if there was an actual first come first serve line with a counter on it, half the people complaining wouldn't be complaining. though lots of people will still complain the line is too long when they see there's thousands of people ahead of them and their 4 day early access is 4 days of standing in line.
I can't tell what's worse.
All of the problems this expansion is having or the people actually wasting their time here defending it.
I get that launches can't be perfect, but HW wasn't nearly as bad as this. I could actually advance in the MSQ
