This means that even attempting to occupy yourself with things like leveling crafters and gathers is relatively painful, as the XP quickly drops off, mats become unavailable, and you can't even get to many of the class quests. Somewhat paradoxically, I would say the launch overall has been quite smooth, yet the game remains mostly unplayable.

    I agree. in addition to the above, I get randomly booted about every 20-30m, even if I am actively doing things (I always am). is there something whonky with their AFK Daemon? or are they doing it on purpose to give people more access chances? I dunno, but it is really irritating to get booted in the middle of a FATE, and come back to it over after you had to wait in queue for 10m, have the login server error out and kill the client, start it again and wait through another queue, to get back into the game for another 20-30m of playtime before getting booted again.

    And it's random too. sometimes it may be up to 45m or so, and sometimes it's as early as 5m. but it's consistently there, and a real headache when trying to do any group content, even low level stuff like PotD.

    I've been around the block, I know that expansion releases have issues. I think the frustration with this specific event is exactly what Nixxe states above. It's the fact that they lock so much of the content behind MSQ gates that are currently unaccessable by many. literally 2/3 of the content you can't even get to even if you just wanted to walk there and take in the sights. It's bad design. locking MSQ progression behind an MSQ quest, I could accept that. Locking most the game content behind a single MSQ quest isn't really acceptable.
