I feel like I will never be able to get into the game again since the wait time is forever and then I get an error after that and restart my wait time....is this what I'm paying for :/ maybe you guys should have waited to release this because it's been awful so far the server is literally dying as we speak lol

This is a typical MMO expansion first day-week experience. All are like this, it is not like it is a new phenomenon. The only thing you can do is buckle up and enjoy the ride.

You mean WoW? Legion and WoD also had first day issues as well. I know because I was there.

The "MMO That Shall Not Be Named" only got it right after five other tries, and only because they ruined open world content with constantly changing instances of the same zones.

At least we can somewhat get on. WoW has it worse than this game, hell Warlords of Draenor was their worst launch (and expansion) to date. The only region Legion ran smoothly was because WoW's population dropped immensely. Here FF XIV's population is actually increasing. It's pretty bad but it could be worse. Just be happy you can get on...and do at least something. Well not the MSQ cause apparently that's screwed up.

Actually people are reporting they're getting through that one quest now. Only problem now is the constant disconnections, which may or may not be because of server overloading caused by the west coast players coming home from work and getting on.
