World Transfer and keep my gil?

According to this you can retain all your gil if you make a world transfer from a congested server to one less congested. I am trying to transfer from Balmung to Cactaur...but process still tells me 'Your character has exceeded the maximum gil amount allowed by the World transfer service.'

I'm not hitting 'yes' until I have confirmation I'm keeping my gil. With the way Early Release is (not) working, I'm hesitant to believe this is working as intended to. Will be cross if I lose all my money and find I'm on cactaur with just 1,000,000 after promised it wouldn't be.

Its in the notes so I'd assume they'd have to fix it if it didn't work. I'd prefer putting my gil into materials then transferring and reselling after transfer to be safe.

Those incentives you refer to only apply when you move from a congested world to a preferred world, or from any world to a new world. Cactaur is not a preferred or new world.
See http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...06d0909189e479 for a list of which worlds are considered congested/preferred.
