Cannot Login due to name changing request

Hello, I am from Shiva server, on 17 June I accessed mogstation and bought some fantasias and a name change request, after that I tried login on my account on PS4 system and the server doesn't allow me to either change my name nor login, it says "unable to obtain character data due to server congestion".

Same here, i transfered my charachter from Behemot to Ragnarock and i'm literally stuck on the login screen cause i can't change one retainer's name. when i click on change retainer name i still get the warning you can't log in until you cjanged the retainer's name

Same here. Can't log in because I bought a name change. 1) can't name change due to congestion. 2) Can't log in because now that SQEX has your money you can't play until you change your name.
It's a really lame reason to be locked out of my character. T.T I've never been locked out of my character for giving a MMO company money. xD

well it worked for me at least.

i have upgraded my PS4 FF xiv to SB and that was the reason why i could not name change, the error is related in some aspect only to SB expansion , IF , you can access your account via PC or any other way in a previous expansion ( ARR or Heavensward ) you'll be able to see your character model on the log in screen and rename it

at least it worked for me my PC version was on ARR and i was able to rename the char on pc , log out, and now i'm playing on PS4 normally. hope this help you guys too! GL!

What worked for me is that i had to wait until the server weren't congested (around 4 am) at that point i could see my charachter and clicking on change retainer name finally worked
