Please shut servers down

So, tell me again how this is a good thing for their players to "Do other things in the game" when we can't even get in the game to Fate, craft, gather, or even just socialize because our characters our basically locked because of the primal error.

Do all you can do. Looks like you wait. If they shut down the servers. You'd have to wait anyway, right? But shutting down the servers means that others that can play has to not play along with you. Which is what I think you guys want. The old Law of No Fun. If I can't have fun, you can't either.

Tbh. My money is on there being no maintenance until the 20th.

They'll play it smart. Gather all bugs/severe glitches they can find, work out a patch for it, and then patch it all in one go-through at the 20th so they can still say; What's your problem? Game works fine at official release.

It makes sense too. Right now, even if it's like 10-20 percent of players impacted by this; It's just 10-20 percent. However, if they start taking servers down now / continously for each error to patch it through, they'll be barring 100 percent of the player-base from playing for extended periods of time.

Pretty obvious to me which choice they will go with.

This will be my Last post here but As much as I wish they would fix this for early access. I feel Dante is Right they probably won't take alot of action until the 20th, which I feel alittle sad about. I feel bad for those that aren't even able to log in to see some of these things only to be pretty much told "too bad so sad" on the forums. But again the fact remains I agree with Dante that they probably won't take a large scale action till tuesday.

Sometimes I wonder if people have to have a reason to flame lol
But if they took the servers down then they could fully focus their attention on everything because looking over the forums, it's not just the congestion that is killing people. Some can't log in, Some are getting disconnected for simply just zoning. I know it sucks for those that got through that they cant' play the game but I mean there are those that can't even experience the same kind of fun you are having because they can't even log in.

So what difference does it make that they can't log on? Servers down or not, guess what, can't get on. Shutting the servers down only means that the people that could get on now can't. That's the crux of it though, right?

The most decent thing to do in this situation would be, in fact, to shut down the servers and only allow players back in when the issue is actually solved.

There are a few players who actually got past the quest and are currently advancing with the storyline. This is unfair not only to those who seek to compete among friends and strangers in a leveling race, but also to those who actually managed to access anything past The Fringes/The Peaks and are having problems finding people to play with.

Emergency maintenance seems viable at the moment but SE has yet to initiate it.

Have to add my chara is now stuck in 90002 hell.
Everyone on my guild agrees, just shut it down, do what you gotta do.
If we get free time, great. If not... oh well. at least half of us can't even play anymore.
