DX11 Client error?

Same error that I am receiving. Can't remember what zone I was teleporting to when it crashed, and can't login to find out.

This just happened to me too. I have been stuck waiting on the Pippin quest, and decided to make my way back towards him from Rhalgr's Reach to give it one last try before logging out. I was approaching Pippin's location, but was far enough off that I couldn't even see him or the crowd of people when out of the blue I crashed with the same dx11 error. Tried to log back into the game, got through the queue to the loading screen, then dx11 error again.

I have the same problem aswell! Hope this gets fixed very soon. Was right after the Susano fight and I cant login since then. Everytime I wait 1h in queue just so the game can tell me that it crashed.

I think this is a server side error. the server simply don't see you outside of the instance and think that youre still inside , but since the duty instances are broken, so when you log in the game send the information to the server to find out where you last log off you get that error. (This is just a hypothesis). BTW i got the same error after susano's fight.

I've been getting the same error. I am wondering if the conflict is with the nvidia or radeon overlay software. I'm reinstalling my drivers without that and going to see if I still end up with a crash.

I got this error after failing to get into the Best Served with Cold Steel quest.

So, essentially it's not enough that I haven't gotten past that quest since early Friday morning.. I now have to wait in a long world queue to try again on top of it.

I'm curious what I should do to play the game? Right now I'm considering what I did in 1.0 which is quit and come back when they actually fix their stuff.

If you are using ReShade, either remove/uninstall it or go into your install directory and rename "dxgi.dll" to "d3d11.dll"

the major thing I have noticed when starting up the game since stormblood is that the message for win+g has been displayed. I thought this was the geforce experince. BUT it is actually the xbox app. this is a built in app for windows 10 but it can be removed.

to remove it, open powershell as administrator
then copy and run the following command.

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxApp | Remove-AppxPackage

then type exit when it is done.

This has to be software conflicts. we need to identify what is causing the conflict.

It's happening for me too. I had a crash when i closed the game, then another one showed up randomly yesterday. Today I've had 2 of them. They all happen randomly. All different zones, never in a dungeon (at least not yet). I can log back into the game though, and my error has nothing to do with the first primal fight (it happened before i got to that part).
