Tiger mount requirements are a little bit too high?

I understand this is a 'long term goal', but 3000 A ranks and 2000 S ranks? A bit too much? I consider myself an active hunter with multiple hunt linkshells and try to never skip S rank, but still have only 1200 S ranks killed since the moment they were introduced in patch 2.3. Those with less time to play probably have less then 300.
At this rate, most of people will never get this mount.

41 hunts every 3-6 hours and 29 S ranks every 3-ish days add up. It's not a fast goal. People said no one would get the 2,000 mentor roulette mount.

theres already someone on my server who got it, so its not impossible to achieve

now there are even 6 more s ranks and 12 a ranks to farm

This is assuming your on when they spawn said S ranks. I hunt a lot but unfortunately someone likes to spawn all the S ranks a few hours before I get on each day. A ranks are easy but the S ranks im still about 100 away from the 500 achievement and I hunt a lot and try to go to every single S rank. Lower that requirement down to 1000 S ranks.

Also 2000 mentor you can do at your own pace and anytime to build up progress, hunts you can not.

Oh yay.....this expansion just keeps getting better...gated out of main story....now I find out the mount of my favorite animal is being gated behind blasted hunts! SE you've certainly managed to kill all enthusiasm I had for this expansion.

My point is being your have ample opportunities to build up to that large number. Neither are meant to be easily obtained in the sense that they want you to invest a sizable amount of time for them.
