What a lie from them.
My partner had them on chat support yesterday, and all that was said is that they've "escalated the issue" to an other staff team/member, and that they will contact her via e-mail when they have an update. Then when she asked again if maybe it was possible to do the transfer manually, the Support said no, and that she can "still play on the old world" until the transfer is done.
That is all the chat session did. We got not solution, no help whatsoever. Just the usual "we've escalated it now bye" basically.
Here's hoping yours goes better...
