You have thousands, UPON THOUSANDS. Of players who pre purchased this game, took time away from their lives, jobs to enjoy playing the game and progress to 70. New jobs, new combat system.

You sit back and allow people to not be able to do the main story? This must be a joke, truly.

If you cared about your player base, you wouldn't make posts saying "Hey guys, please be patient this is just how things are."

You should be doing everything you can to ensure that this launch is successful, shame on you!!

This is why I didn't request the day off from work. I KNEW this was going to happen. Not because of other SE games, but EVERY OTHER MMO THAT EVER EXISTED. This is nothing new. This has happened with EVERY MMO EVER. And EVERY MMO DEVELOPER EVER has said "Please be patient while we work to address the issues". This is by FAR one of the BEST expansion launches in the history of mmos. Guess what, most mmo expansions outright crash on launch day, are entirely unplayable in that not a single player can log in because the servers are choking to death.

Constant DC, lag, MSQ can't progress, long queues to get back in, constant 90002!!! Yeah, sounds like a new expansion alright.

They've overbooked.

Could they prevent it based on how many keys were sold? Yes.
Did they've believed that the number of players logging on first day of EA would be this high? No.

Pretty sure someone from IT pointed it out but management is all about money so they've gambled. Alas I'm pretty convinced all the decisions for this game are 99% management and 1% technical because otherwise they wouldn't had degraded the gameplay experience of pretty much all SA and East Coast players just because they are buddies with NTT.
