GC items Fail = SE Fail

Exactly my point. They are not the best gear in the game. If he is so elitist, he will realize crafted/melded gear are better than any of those GC items.

He only cares about the shield, and is raging as such because he is under the delusion that block rate is the only stat on a shield that matters. He may end up having a point, if Outmaneuver tested after the patch is useless - but at this point there is no other point to his post than utter nerd rage.

I do not think you understood my post at all. I was talking about how the Grand Company's were not balanced. I was talking about how I was told by the SE staff that the Grand Company's would be balanced. I only told players about Licont's character because many posters were trolling him to a large effect and questioning his ability as a gladiator tank. I did not once mention meldable gear or materia. I did not once mention the shield that is available in Gridania. I did comment on how he brought the subject up and yes it could of been done in a better. The point I am trying to make is that the Grand Company's are currently unbalanced and that they should not be when we were told they would not be. So, now we do not have the availability to get every item we would like to get and we are not able to leave the Grand Company we are in to join the one we would like to. Oh, I also forgot to mention how Ul'dah got the only crafting shoes/pants in 1.19. Balanced much?

what if i just want the Flame Sergeant's Shirt and Flame Sergeant's Sarouel for my pug? baybe not the best gear, but it looks great.
what if i want Serpent Sergeant's Belt and Flame Sergeant's Pot Helm (really good for pug with int bonus)?
what if i want Ul'dahn Hoplon (131 block rate, 107 block) or Gridanian Buckler (168 block rate, 71 block, +15 evasion)?

i can't get them because i'm from storm, lol. best gear or not, that's unfair.
not only because i'd like gear from other gc, but also because storm has NOTHING good.

The op and myself have every right to be upset whether or not the shield is the best or not what matters is that it's the shield he wants to use and that using it has been denied to him by SE.

What you are doing is complaining you got the last year's minivan because there's a sports model out this year, That's not injustice, that's lack of planing, slavery was an injustice, the fact you probably picked your GC based either on The color of the coat or your starting city is not Injustice, Choice was given to you, you were repeatedly reminded you can't undo it, you jumped into it, nothing further to discuss.

Wow, I love how intelligent conversation is prety much ignored. I'm hoping the trolls are players who plan to quit when P2P happens. Can we really not focus on how the gc's are not balanced? Can we not talk about how Ul'dah got items other gc's didn't have when 1.19 came out? Can we talk about how GC's are still not being balanced? The Grand Companies were bound to have different perks and rewards (in a balanced manner), anyone who's played RPGs long should had seen this coming.

Instead of bawwing, I suggest square should alow members of different companies to buy gear but double, maybe 1.5x~2x the cost of the base price.

Maybe when the Frontlines PVP content is released and say one nation is dominating ruins control, the 2 lower GCs can from a partnership and the inflated prices are waved till the head nation loses control of the ruins.
