    11030 error

    My wife and I both tried to download the update and about the same time. For her it went through first try and shes been playing for almost 2 hours. For me, I consistently get this message after the downloader sits there at 0.0bps for about 5 min:

    11030 Fild download timed out. Please shut down and restart FINAL FANTASY XIV.(3:40012,20498,20049)

    I have restarted it probably close to 50 times now. Nothing has changed and the exact same error pops up every single time. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know of a solution? Any advice would be appreciated.

    Sometimes if you let it sit there for a while it will begin functioning. Give it a try for something like 30 minutes.

    We went on a search to find if someone uploaded the patch, low and behold someone did. Now it goes to 99.9%, then sits for 5 min and the same error pops up...

    So, through the help of some nice ppl on XIVpads.com i was able to get the patch downloaded. However... i now have an error pop up when i try to choose my character i get error code (40000)7... anyone recognize this?
