At least we can somewhat get on. WoW has it worse than this game, hell Warlords of Draenor was their worst launch (and expansion) to date. The only region Legion ran smoothly was because WoW's population dropped immensely. Here FF XIV's population is actually increasing. It's pretty bad but it could be worse. Just be happy you can get on...and do at least something. Well not the MSQ cause apparently that's screwed up.

Actually people are reporting they're getting through that one quest now. Only problem now is the constant disconnections, which may or may not be because of server overloading caused by the west coast players coming home from work and getting on.

It probably is that. And it's only gonna get worse.

My brother and I just went through a lovely cycle of disconnect -> lobby server error -> 5+ minute queue -> logged in to disconnect -> repeat. After the third time we gave up so maybe someone else will get to play since we quit. :P

Not making excuses, no one should be surprised. But frustrated? Yeah, at 2017 and decade of precedent and this gets old. I bring it on myself I guess, playing this genre XD

EU Servers are also failing... And it's 4 a.m. here.

Population is at it's lowest and stuff is crashing left and right now, just after the majority of people got through the Steel Quest.
