If early access ends before I recieve my hard copy, will I be unable to play HW?

So I spoke with my local gamestop today, and they're informing me that there may not be enough copies to fullfill all preorders on the 20th, and that i could be waiting until next month.

My question is, that since I started content via early access, when that ends, will I also be blockaded from playing HW? I remember a similar issue when I started HW when I had to re-install everything. Installed ARR from a hard copy, and had alot of trouble with getting HW to install. Needless to say, while I tried to figure all this out, I was locked out of ARR because my char was above the level cap in ARR.

Could something similar happen if I dont get a copy on the 20th? Yeah, thanks alot gamestop for not informing me of this when I pre-ordered.

You will have one week after the offical launch of SB to register your game code/key. After that ends, you'll be unable to access the HW (if you previously didn't have HW installed) and SB content and areas, till that key has been successfully registered. However just in case that changes, make sure you are logging out in the old ARR areas coming June 20ths. At least then if there's a problem, you still be able to access the ARR content and game itself for the time being.

Well, I thought as much.

I have HW installed, but like I said, I had something similar happen when I got a virus and had to re-install everything. Had a hard copy of AR but not HW, so I installed ARR, and had trouble downloading the HW files. Needless to say, it let me login into ARR while I tried to figure the issue out, however, I could not play with just the ARR installed bc my character was over the ARR level cap, including gear.

HW will be fine. Just remember to log off in one of the original areas before early access ends.
