How would you know? You've seen maybe 10% of it?

I'll let you know when me and ol' Raubahn make nice finally.
I always love lessons in futility!
Same, tho I managed to pass the wall this afternoon. Enjoying the MSQs and fates for now while exploring.
Anyone that has short patience or high standards probably not going to have lot of fun with this game especially around patch/expansion release time. I played earlier and was having fun but then had to go to work. Been through 1.0 and 2.0 launch so this certainly not going to stop or scare me away.

I am enjoying the parts of the expansion I can access--SAM has been fun, the new zones are beautiful, the music is great, Lyse has gotten some character development and I'm currently swimming in Costa. That said I planned on this being my only marathon gaming day this weekend, with my only goal to get to Kugane which is the zone I'm most excited to see so . . . yeah.
I wish I could say I was enjoying myself too, because I agree with your sentiments about the content so far.
Unfortunately, my enjoyment is being marred by a lot more than just the MSQ wall. I disconnect fairly frequently if I'm doing anything that involves map changes (including PotD instances), so I can't easily level new jobs or play around with crafters or gatherers. My main job, White Mage, feels like it lost roughly half its abilities, and I'm still in a state of shock over how sparse my ability bars look. This has affected my enjoyment while playing it; the job feels a bit dull now without Cleric's Stance, with only two Aero tiers, and without a relevant Fluid Aura.
It's been a very sour experience for me so far. It's solidified my opinion that SE knows how to design beautiful maps and creatures, knows how to craft solid storylines, but fails spectacularly at most anything technical or balance-related. And it's getting increasingly difficult for me to overlook.
Yep, this has happened to me 4 times in the last 4 hours. I cannot even advance past level 56, unless I want to spam Fates, which I would rather gauge my eyes out. But, hell, even the Fates are DC'ing people left and right.
