I spent six hours getting logged in today, SIX. FUCKING. HOURS. I had to queue five times, had three lobby server errors, one 90k disconnect 30 seconds after logging in, I managed to get logged on the fifth attempt about two hours ago and squeeze in some questing and it's just disconnected me again, to rejoin the back of a queue twice the size of the one I've just been through multiple times over. This is after wasting over half my playtime yesterday trying to get past the Ruhbahn crap, and from what I gather I was one of the lucky ones! I'm running on a wired connection, 300mbps Fiber, that your game reports as "excellent".
This is beyond annoying, it's actually fucking insulting, why am I paying for this garbage quality service? Why aren't you putting a fraction of the absolute truckloads of money you get from peddling shit quality, unfinished, DLC ridden, cut content trash like FFXV, into the one good game you have left square? Why do your paying customers have to suffer through this absolute drudgery every single time you release a new expansion, because you refuse to cough up the cash to adequately provide the service we already paid you to provide? Expecting heavy loads during launch? Either limit your sales to what your servers can handle or upgrade your servers capacity. Selling people an online game then expecting them to just sit with their thumbs up their ass waiting for other people to get bored so they can play is complete bullshit.
I am seeing the same fucking problem. I log in my character, it puts me in queue (this is fine, I mean I expected that) but then it gives me the Loading screen just to disconnect me AGAIN. Been doing this over and over and over and over. This is insane and something they COULD have prevented if they anticipated with the early release and past experience like said above. It's RIDICULOUS. I still can't log my character in, my friend says I am still logged in but I am not.

This is just awful customer service to those who have pre-ordered the game but also to those who are still playing Heavensward like me. We are both suffering from that Square wants to save some money by not preparing to flood of people when early access begins. There is always more people than servers can normally handle when expansions are released and it's not like Square is new on this business, so they knew what was going to happen. So they just didn't care enough to get those servers and manpower that was needed to handling launching this expansion. There should be a generous compensation to everyone who is suffering from these difficulties.
oh yea. also 6 quest later you get stick again.
I quite enjoy the character screen with a triangle instead of my character for hour to get in to move for 5 minutes and rinse and repeat.
Still can't get past Instanced Main story quest. Some have but its such a minimal number..
Have hour long queues each time I DC. Keep randomly DC in them middle of dungeons or POTD, or zoning/loading screens. Please fix or post an update, this is very frustrating at this point as I've played maybe 5 hours since launch and I was up and ready at 4am![]()
Day 2' couldn't login only after like 20 times, I'm so disappointed and lost all the fun in this game, thought when I logged out yesterday that SE would for sure fix some of the issues by today, but sadly no, oh well.
Why do people say “no offense” right before they’re about to offend you?
Square has been dead silent too about the issues for over 13 hours at this point. Fantastic customer service right?
