MSQ v POTD: RDM/SAM

Hey guys, to begin, this is my first post to the forums (long-time viewer) so I do apologize if this is in the incorrect sub forum, but I figured this is a highly populated location to receive the desired feedback.

My question: beginning as a red mage, would POTD or Heavensward MSQ be faster leveling? I'm going to begin a new character and boost a job to 60; but either select the ARR MSQ or the HW MSQ boost, dependent on the vote. I had planned to simply HW MSQ until Vault / Library, then spam dungeons / POTD until 60 and use the discounted HW boost to jump into Stormblood MSQ.

Thoughts?

Ps. I understand the concept of POTD not allowing ample practice with the role; I've been playing mmo's since 2007 and intend on putting in the work to practice prior to ruining everyone's day in a dungeon as someone new to my job. Strictly looking for leveling efficiency.

Considering you have to go through the Heavensward story to get to Stormblood anyway, do that (unless you plan on buying a story skip potion).

I'll buy a HW story skip potion if POTD would be quicker; otherwise I would only skip the ARR story and use the HW story to level 50+. I'm wondering if POTD is quicker than 50+ MSQ.

It's quicker, assuming the instance servers are stable, which is a big assumption today it seems.
