It may very well be working 'better' but on the more heavily populated datacentres that doesn't change very much since only a tiny portion of players are getting through at a time and the 'competition' is immense.

it's in place in that instead of having 2000 people in the zone spamming to get in, 75% of the zone got disconnected and only like a 3rd of those get to log back on really slowly, so there's only like 1000 spamming to get in. and it doesn't seem like more than 4 or 5 people get to go in at the same time so...

that is exactly the solution they said they would implement, you not being able to log in means less competition for the people who are.

I just got kicked out of that instance while it loaded, log in screen, queue to log in, connection lost, try again, lost, try again queue, lost, x6 more attempts, get in, try instance, disconnect.

At least they are updating the lodestone now with news that the Datacenters in NA are melting under the pressure of every NA player ever trying to be on at once.

...Server stress is a thing and there is literally no valid argument to say otherwise...this entire complaint train will be overlooked/forgotten shortly after its done with.

You advertised a new expansion, you offer early access and once it was prime time in your time zone there were massive queues.

What would be the more reasonable way to try and prevent something like that:
A. Waiting for your servers to be flooded and then "testing" and observing how it goes - and if it goes bad you 1. annoyed your early access customers, 2. have to scramble to get things going and 3. are forced to apologize.
B. You except the worst and increase your capabilities to 110%+ to ensure a smooth experience for your paying customers. And if it still doesn't go to well you'd to your best to let your customers know almost immediately what pressing issues there are and that you're looking into it.
