Blizzard III Gray'd Out

My spell "Blizzard III" is gray'd out and will not allow me to move spell into action bars out of Job area in Actions/Traits.

Spell says Lv40 MP 230
I'm level 44 Black Mage / THM / 15 Archer

Have local image to add from desktop. Don't see option to add except from website.

Dumb question perhaps, but have you done the actual job quest for it? Remember that abilities gained via job quests are no longer "hidden" until you get them like they used to be. Instead all abilities are revealed at the level you'll get them.

Probably need to complete a job quest to unlock it.

I have to then ask a question for question, where's the information that Blizzard 3 changed from being a level unlock to a quest unlock?
I have found no such information and I had B3 when I hit 40 before the patch.

My roommate had this happen with Tetra on his WHM after coming back. Go back to... is the pre-50 BLM trainer still Lalai? Whoever it is, and see if you've got a quest waiting for you. SE decided to make them show up there now, but I believe all the pre-62 skills are still tied to the quests.

Well, how can this thread be closed? I wasn't planning to see or visit Lalai till 45, however, a notice would have been pretty nice to know before and not having to guess.

It's just part of the battle system being redesigned. A lot to jobs have had changes, including abilities being removed or adjusted. A lot job/class abilities have been moved into the Role abilities, causing the other Job Abilities to shift.
