Except it didn't take any effort, it was just tacked on.

But people who made the effort to get shield class to 50 although they were just mages..and no gladiators..*sad*

I'm sorry I gotta agree with Masamune1004... It should have been combined with the Gladiator class from the beginning, If you want your shield again you gotta lvl GLA. Makes perfect sense.
