Please release an .ISO containing the game client and all the patches on one disc

If it's taking forever, the problem is on your end. It takes me 20min to install off dvd and under an hour to patch start to finish. I did it 3 weeks ago after i bought my two kids new computers for xmas and put ffxiv on them, as well as a month ago when I bought a new SSD. This 1hr20min install time was far better thana nything i've ever seen in ffxi, and I played that game for 8 years, reinstalling at least every year, if not every 6mo, due to hardware upgrades. And I have the vanadiel collections from 2005-2010, so from 3 discs to dvd, plus patch time. FFXIV is like lightening compared to ffxi.

Well installing is quick enough.

The patching through the official patcher... I am not sure what the hell is wrong with it, for some people, me included it just takes forever, never gets any remote connections, etc.

I suspect it's some crappy, evil and pointless tracker config that might be locking people out from connecting to others by region, country, whatever. Opening the official torrent file with a standalone torrent client (same port forwarding config as official patcher) locks me out of SE's tracker but then peer exchange takes over and I get max connections and download speed goes to 100% of my bandwidth.

So the problem is not necessarily on our side when it comes to retarded low download rates.

You could use a ftp program and copy the contents of the folder over fwiw
