I've been happy with the PS Pro vs PS4. Frame rate has been more stable is my perception. SephEx in particular I used to get slowdowns/glitches for some parts and haven't noticed since SB on the PS Pro. Loading times can still be a drag, but I expect that'll improve once I get around to buying and installing an SSD. I'm pleased that FFXIV is quite playable from the comfort of my couch, I spend all day at work at my desk with computers, I'd rather not do that in my play time.

my graphics card cost more than a PS4 yet I have dips below 60fps from time to time. as long as it doesn't go sub 30 it's not a big deal IMO. It shouldn't impair you at like 40fps.

I agree with the post that is two above this one. I think the people seeing improvements are seeing a placebo, and they totally shafted us on a technicality.
I disagree. While it's not pronounced, honestly camera movement and overall experience feels better on the Pro vs the regular PS4. This is particularly noticeable if you're using the "legacy" movement or whatever it is. The one where your character moves with the camera.
But, hey, what would I know.
(I only play racing sims and demand a perfectly smooth frame rate experience so....)
I honestly see the game is smoother on ps4 pro vs the original one.
I have to say I bought a Pro yesterday and an SSD (crucial mx300) and you can tell a massive difference between loading times from one area to another and funny enough I have hardly any latency ( I was not expecting latency to be improved) It's like I'm playing something new.
Would be nice to get the pro pacth and see how much more can it be improved.
