    Has anyone had any luck getting a refund from Square? i bought a 60 day timecard from amazon and used it on my account, i have yet to dip into the 60 days (had 24 already on the account) i also bought an 18$ server transfer and want a refund on both.

    Hello. I just had a power outage. I went to load client and was met with the download ffxiv-H2017.06.06.0000.0001a. The time for download to complete:2800 minutes at .20MB/s.
    I was not aware of this issue until moments ago...lol...after experiencing it, then searching the issue, and then having a Reddit lead me to this thread.
    I am upset along with the others who've had this issue.
    It seems to be not getting any response.
    I understand those suggesting battery backups, and I will go and purchase one tomorrow. I am able to do so. I am certain others are not. But, I believe the backup is a sound suggestion. However, it is not a fix.
    If you wish to make this known in a grander way, please respond with your thread link. We need to move outside of this thread into public view.
    SE has made known their intention to have FFXIV be available to as many consoles as possible.
    We, as paying consumers of FFXIV, have a right to voice our concern for our suffering, and we, again as a paying consumer, have a responsibilty to provide our gaming community with the treatment and service input we receive from companies we pay to enjoy our love of online gaming--specifically the FFXIV brand and SONY Entertainment.
    Up until this occurred, and then my discovery of how common it has become with the Stormblood patch, I believed both SE and SONY did a great job with we PlayStation consumers.
    I don't believe so now. Please repost your thread if you would like to move outside of this forum to a more public view. I will devote a bit of time to the issue. Thanks & Kweh(shame on you SE). I for one have a strong connection to your Final Fantasy franchise that shares the length of the series--all 30 years. Please do not harm that relationship.

    I want 22 days of free game time. 1 for each GB I have to download.

    Also give us a free boost potion for this trash for the lost time I could have been leveling something.

    This will be my second re-download of the entire game file after a power outage; once due to my own stupidity (flipped the switch that controlled the outlet instead of the light) and once due to an act of God (severe thunderstorm). I'm not so annoyed that I'm going to righteously demand a refund by golly, but I am pretty annoyed. Like almost everyone here, I only have a limited amount of time to play every day, and staring at the download trying to will it to go faster just isn't as fun as hanging out in Eorzea. Pls fix soon.

    i could almost just deal with having to redownload the 22.7gb but the PS4 FFXIV launcher keeps giving me a random error code so i have to actually keep watch to see if it's still working, let alone not being able to actually use my ps4 while it downloads. Why cant it just work like other games and downloads in the background?

    100 pages, 1000 posts and one month later and still no resolution.

    if this was free to play i wouldn't bat an eye but i pay for the game AND a monthly sub (and mind you i buy 6 mos sub at a time).

    I want compensation SE. This is unacceptable.

    You blame it on Sony when it's very clear it's your game that has an issue 'coz it does not happen with any other game.

    Yoshi you better be reading this.

    SE Support staff - make immediate public posting NOW

    TO the minions at SE - You shouldn't let an untested launcher get out the door. The real "hot stick in the eye" is SE not posting it's progress with Sony to permanently fix these unnecessary and MASSIVE downloads. Several other games I have that have frequent updates don't have fragile launchers and version-checkers. This is going on the second WEEK of little or no reassurance to thousands of PS4 subscribers. POST on the opening page of game TODAY and keep your loyal customers INFORMED.
