    This is still not a bad idea. You don't have to get a full UPS. A Surger Protecter with Battery Backup is only about 40-50 bucks. It generally covers 4 outlets, so you can power your PS4 down safely in case something happens. After all a bad shutdown can even corrupt the database. So may as well invest in it anyways in case this update broke something else that you may not be aware of.

    You're right, I've always had it in mind just thought I could put it off. There's a reason the PS4 scolds you when it's not turned off properly, lol.
