Yes. Was the first thing i did. Do not work...
This do not work. You have to download the 22,7gb patch as well and hope to your PS4 do not enter on Restauration Mode.
Yeah, which is NOT feasible on my connection, and I sent my console to my brother's house so he could do it for me, took about a day on his connection. From what I understand, once you have this issue, until they actually fix it, the only way to at least temporarily stop it from popping up every time you log in is to do a fresh install of the whole game. But heaven forbid the power blips again, and you're screwed anyway.
The external hdd backup mentioned up above is intriguing though, but I don't think I can do that. I have an external but I have extra games stored on it, I assume I would have to delete those and format it as a backup drive for that to -maybe- work. I don't like deleting anything, as I said, it takes me a looooong time to get anything back on my connection. I'm really no expert with this stuff, so it's frustrating.

Yes. The problem is the system restore mode. I hope you play just fine. Rly do.That's at least somewhat comforting; so only if the ps4 gets that system restore mode triggered by a power outage or improper shutdown, will this bug crop up?? I really hope so. I feel like I'm in a minefield now with FF. And I may never leave my ps4 in sleep mode ever again, lol. Never have I ever been so scared of having the power go out.![]()
Yes, were in the same exact boat, my friend. DSL connection. Takes full 24 hours to patch this 22 gb
Fixing the pictures in the launcher to display properly is more important than this. Rest assure that they are working hard based on priority.

While I agree with you on the urgency of our problem, the SE has a tendency to only comment or post when they at least know the source of the problem and are fixin. This silence worries me because it seems to me that it is difficult to find out what is causing this or they "expect" that the new patch tomorrow will correct this. I hope not and that they are really trying to fix it.

We can hope meh, I did a fresh install and it seems to work. I'll backup and pray nothing happens meh
Yes... as you say, the silence is extremely worrisome. They don't want to comment on it until they know what to say about it; and clearly, they don't know what to tell us.While I agree with you on the urgency of our problem, the SE has a tendency to only comment or post when they at least know the source of the problem and are fixin. For a DSL connection this bug is game-breaking.

Well had another flicker in power....
Well I hope the patch tonight fixes things I can't really do a fresh install every time meh.

I am really hoping they fix this tonight, because this is one bug that literally makes the game unplayable for PS4 users. I've been trying to download my thing again since yesterday and so far it's been more than 10h. T_T
