22.7gb update after relogging?

Okay, happened to me the third time! I had a UPS but PS4 freeze and had to hard reset it and surely, that 22.7 gb is waiting for me there.

I have no choice but to stop playing it on PS4 and had to purchase again on PC to play. Oh, don't think like I am one happy customer shelling out another 60 bucks to play. I have a job to review FF XIV PS4 version. There will be a very scathing review for PS4 version soon. Please look forward to it.

I can also confirm that this had happened to me and my brother on PS4.
After our power fluctuated, we lost all of our patches/updates on both PS4. I'm currently redownloading the 22GB patch as I write....

Anyone know what's going to happen when We actually get the physical copy on release day tomorrow? Or will it still have us download this problem even with the disc?

Just ran into this issue after like a second-long power outage. Thought it would go by fast till my internet took a nosedive. Now I'm looking at 2000+ minutes of download time. Hopefully the official launch fixes this since outages are gonna be common with the weather we've been having :/

Halfway through the 22.7gb after waking up. If I get home from work today with an error message and have to restartart the download over, looks like a may have to find another game to play for the time being. This is ridiculous. This thread should be stickied by now.

PS: Did yall try changing your dns 4.2.2.1 and 8.8.4.4. (to those who have gotten the unable to patch error)

Happened to me just a second ago, a fuse blew in my house, changed it, tried logging in and its downloading 22.7GB of data now, 180 minute to go, sigh.

Yes not liking the silence at all. I am going to assume that they are waiting for the official release tomorrow and everything will be fine with the launcher. But that's just me being optimistic. Very disappointing square Enix

It just hit me. Any idea if the storm blood disc would have all the patches on it and I could circumvent this? I can't do a 22gb download meh

I thought the same thing, but the problem is that this error also causes you to download Havensward's entire paths and then download the Stormblood ... I'm here downloading AGAIN and it's 1021 minutes left. All my friends in Kugane and I could not even get frustrated at not being able to pack on the MSQ because I can not even open the game. Very irritating.
