22.7gb update after relogging?

It has to be data corruption from the power outages. Since everyone has had a power outage and this has happened. I mean is the data not saved locally? Why would we need to re-patch. Im so freakin pissed right now, excuse me. I know its just a game but now all my friends and fc mates are gonna be way ahead.

It just happened to me and my wife on the PS4 at the same time. We were in the middle of the second dungeon of Stormblood. The power went out and came right back on. Now we both have to reinstall the original game with the expansions? I've had power outages/surges before and logged right back into the party. When I check my hard drive it says everything is downloaded so it's kinda like the launcher isn't detecting it and reinstalling? I could be wrong, but it happened to me and my wife at the same time and we've never had to reinstall the game before. Plus we went out to eat while it was installing and got an error. Went back to start installing and it had started back over from the beginning! Please fix SE!

is not corrupted data, I live in a country that have constant power outages, I have been playing since arr in ps3/ps4 and this is the first time this has ever happened to me and to a lot of people. this is something with the launcher

I just tried to re download it twice. About halfway through I get a message on a black screen saying

Unable to download patch files.

Then when I try to log back in it just restarts the installation/update from the very beginning. /cry

This is what mine did also, when I attempted to let it do the patch. After the 3rd time I just gave up. I deleted the whole game and sent the console home with my brother and his faster connection. If the same problem persists even after a clean install tomorrow, I guess I'm just done with FFXIV, I dunno what else to do.

I'm downloading the files on my slow internet so I've noticed the version update changes constantly. Seems like its downloading each patch and you get a number for each one it does within the download.

I found that if ur ps4 is shut off in anyway improperly via power outage/ surge or simply by having the cord pulled from the wall while being logged in this problem occurs to when after logging back in the game redownloades as if u never had it downloaded

Redownloading again for the 5th time on the 5th day of early access. 22.7 fat gb, and still no fix from fucking square Enix. I am literally getting sick and tired of their incompetence right about now when players here asking for help, they can't even say a goddamn hello in this fucking thread. Sorry if you're freaking too busy fixing bugs on your MSQ, you goddamn assholes. The rest of us will be here staring at our download screen because your broken ass launcher. FU square.

Power goes off and now have to download a 22gb patch on my PS4 again.
Never happen on previous patches.

I don't have super internet,this will take a hours and was enjoying playing Stormblood.
