22.7gb update after relogging?

Something i noticed is this big patch 22747gb is divided by parts each 1430gb if you dont download at less that progress (Connection issues ) you will need redownload again...Do you think guys that ps4pro have something to do with all this? Because there is a issue with text box too.Mybe is the copatibility

Same thing just happened to me, but unlike you guys, I didn't lose power at all. My PS4 froze up while I was browsing the PS store on the console. I had to force it to power off, and now this morning, this happens. Isn't this the same issue? Cause my system was updated before this happened to me.

This is a follow-up regarding the issue wherein players on the PlayStation®4 version receive a “CE-30022-7” error when attempting to launch the game after updating.

The results of the investigation we performed with Sony Interactive Entertainment show that this error occurs when the following conditions have been met.

■Conditions that lead to the error
・Making an entire backup of or restoring the data on the PlayStation®4 system when FINAL FANTASY XIV is installed.
・Transferring data from another PlayStation®4 when FINAL FANTASY XIV is installed.

Since it has been confirmed that this issue can be addressed by updating the PlayStation®4 system software, we had Sony Interactive Entertainment perform a PlayStation®4 system software update on Jun. 22, 2017.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but due to these circumstances, we ask that user of the PlayStation®4 version please update their PlayStation®4 system software to the latest version.

*If users are currently experiencing this issue and a CE-30022-7 error occurs, the issue will be resolved without having to reinstall FINAL FANTASY XIV by updating the PlayStation®4 system software.

It's apparently not the same error as the one "fixed" by the latest firmware update. All we can do is hope they fix it soon.

But yes, a system freeze would be the same problem as all of us. Any type of improper shutdown will cause this as far as I know.

nothing yet..... what is SE doing, I had to buy a ups power supply just in case, I live on a budget and I made sure to include ffxiv on that budget and this is ridiculous.

Hence a fix from sony in order to run it. Can always mod the gaming console to an external HHD. for FFXIV if your tech savvy enough.

Explain this more in depth please. Where can I find this information?

Where are they acknowledging this issue? They need to put it on the lodestone login to at least let players know that this is something they are working on. Right now seeing 60 pages of this thread, is very daunting for players on PS4.

The power went out at the place sometime last night and I've encountered this issue along with other PS4 players that have had power outages.
The patch H2017.06.06.0000.0001 will download, if you have to cancel out it adds a letter to the end of the file ie 0001a, 0001b etc...

It would be greatly appreciated if this was posted so that players are aware that it's being worked on, instead of having them frustrated since the latest notice doesn't address this specific issue.

Sigh I think you took it the wrong way, gaming consoles such as PS3/4 or XBOX based might be great for online gaming, as long as the servers aren't over contested. However a PC based game has more comparability reliability than most being parts can be upgraded. For gaming consoles to run a game at a set setting must go through a lot of testing. While Stormblood may have passed those specs it doesn't change the fact that it's going into an over crowed servers specially at a launch of a new expansion. Also that is to be expected with any online game specially MMO's. Patches will continue so still not sure why people are surprised. 22g can be considered the size for SB. If there are too many people trying to download patches common sense would tell you, your not special and time will be needed to download a patch. I was able to download patch during low peek hours and took me only 25min at most. I use my PS4 as a back up when I travel so it may just be your area as well and how service works around you. If people still haven't learned the nature of the beast at least they should be able to understand that this is common for online play, gaming consoles, and any type of expansions. Ever tried VPN?

22.7 gigs is a large patch, especially considering all I us posting aren't first time players and this is all of thebpatches from arr to stormblood.

Also for example my internet is horrid because of the area of the country I live in, and I have capped internet.

This bug is not common for mmo releases, especially considering you do not even have to be playing ffxiv for it to trigger.

And trust me ibunderstand time is important, but there is a diffence between 6 gig patch and a 22 gig.
