22.7gb update after relogging?

Just happened to me, power flicker.

Power went out for a minute, aaaaand now i get to babysit a DL i shouldnt have to do, for 8 hours... If things go smoothly that is.

Same problem here power outage and update... I have a 24h download time if thing goes well feel my pain..

Yeah it just happened to me again....i finished redownloading and simply shut the ps4 down normaly and when i tried relogin it gave me the damn thing again...so at this point its not just a power out corrupt data issue....

They said that is bein adressed. We just have to wait.. T-T

The dev. team is currently looking into the issue where the large patch is re-applied any time a power outage occurs on the PlayStation®4. We believe this is mainly occurring due to the power outage causing game files to be corrupted, which triggers the software to redownload the patch. We will follow up with any updates we receive, but in an effort to minimize the issue, we ask that users follow the standard shutdown procedure for the PS4, aside from cases that are beyond your control like unexpected power outages.

there is a post that a community rep said, oh because you shut down the console in a improper way is kind of your fault, but the devs are looking on it.

a lot of people have already said that they have played since arr on console and it was normal and this didn't happen, so at this point I don't know if they are reading this.

My download finished, I got in game and played no issues. Logged off for the night and shit the PS4 down. Out of interest I turned it back on and tried logging in and it's all working as normal for me. (For now at least)
