    Just cuz it's a problem that maybe only Sony can fix does not mean its there problem this was caused from SB, SE is at fault they lack quality testing on ps4 they got no fcking clue what's wrong so they pass the hot potato to Sony hoping they can resolve it and it feels like they are trying sweep this under the rug like it ain't there problen

    This is happening to me as well

    I'm having the same problem, everytime the PS4 is either on or in sleep mode and there is a power outage or it gets disconnected from electricity it forces you to download the whole 20/22 GB all over again.

    It has forced me to reinstall the game at least 3 times and it has delayed me and my group for a while. Its even more anoying when your playing time is not much.

    Middle of a Dungeon, Power Outage, Download the whole Expansion. Fix this crap.

    This has happened to me 3 times since the patch. Please fix this! I have to wait half a day to reinstall.

    3rd Time this has happened

    Yes, I feel its time i play something else, having to wait 1.5 hours everytime i lose power. Sub is nearing its end and should probably put this to a halt until they finally fix this. So now you claim DDoS and a bug that loses its files due to a power outage hmm... sounds like a temp folder is being created that is not saving due to an abrupt lose of power

    I also have had many power outages throughout the years playing ARR/HW and never has this happened until Stormblood....

    My data wasn't corrupted. Everything was still there and downloaded. It's like the launcher itself messes up with an improper shutdown. You don't even have to play FFXIV. A power outage/improper shutdown in general will cause the launcher to force us to download it all again.

    Same here. I've had power outages for years or I forgot that my system was in rest mode and unplugged it. All of that while having Final Fantasy XIV. I've been in duties and had the power knocked out and came back to continue the duty. Not once have I ever had to redownload the game or patches due to a power outage or improper shutdown.
