No one paid extra for early access. I'm not saying you were able to benefit from early access, I'm saying you didnt pay extra. 2 very different things.

We appreciate your patience as we worked with the team to get an update.

The dev. team is currently looking into the issue where the large patch is re-applied any time a power outage occurs on the PlayStation®4. We believe this is mainly occurring due to the power outage causing game files to be corrupted, which triggers the software to redownload the patch. We will follow up with any updates we receive, but in an effort to minimize the issue, we ask that users follow the standard shutdown procedure for the PS4, aside from cases that are beyond your control like unexpected power outages.

There is definitely something going on because I've had this game on PS4 since launch and suffered dozens of power outages over the years and this has never happened until I installed Stormblood.

I have been unable to play today again... I hope it is something easy to fix. I will definitely have to try the backup and restore method after the download finishes.

this is not due to corrupted data, I have been playing since ARR, and I live in a country where we have constant power outages and this is the first time this have happened. so please I k or that the devs are working hard to fix this but this is a game breaking bug that will make a lot of your customers go away. just saying turn of your console properly is not going to do much to players that live in areas with power issues.

I just had a power outage and i'm downloading now again ps4......im upset because it's the weekend and i was looking forward to get a lot done in game.

Same thing happened to me this morning. Small storm, power flicked, and had to download 22 gigs after turning the PS4 back on ;.; I really hope they fix this.

It is raining a lot lately in Florida so power outage are coming often. It re downloads the game every time.
Stormblood is full of bugs... Heavenward did so much better... what happened with the quality assurance department?

Happened 5 time to me... Still downloading all for a 1 sec electricity failure 4 hours ago.... Really annoying.
