22.7gb update after relogging?

Eh, i'm not sure if hes talking about doing the same thing as I am however. I'm talking about deleting everything and just have a fresh instal+stormblood hard disc load up. Not sure if it will make a difference, and probably will still have to download the large patch (hopefully not). But maybe if the launcher is reinstalled will work until the next time it happens and hopefully SE has a fix by then.

And I can tell you it won't work I've already done a fresh install

They gave an update in the reddit forum about the situation but they gave no real accomplishments. Only saying that it might take awhile with this kind of problem and that they will continue to escalate the situation. So long story short, no progress and keep waiting basically. Sigh. Waste of days honestly.

Welp, only thing I can say at this point is if you get the unable to download patch thing is DO NOT click okay. Just close the game and start it back up. If you click okay it will start you back to where you prior to what you have already downloaded.

And I have to re-DL it again! Took me 6 hours yesterday. Going for another 6 hours! Had a 2s power cut while I was playing another game (it's above 40°C here so the power grid is under pressure with air conditioners).

In the meantime you will be happy that real problems are being fixed.

I'm glad japanese players can see their toons on the Lodestone. On my side I've spent 25% of my time since Sunday in Downloads. Is it quality of life for a sub based game?

Not even talking about server issues.

Imho this issue should spread out of these forums. People who get to the game right now must now what they are at risk.

Oh wow I'm so glad they fixed LODESTONE portraits. It's understandable for those minor issues to be quick fixes, but seriously, don't think it's wise to be gloating about fixing lodestone portraits without even bothering to mention a side note that, oh by the way, we heard about that game-breaking glitch and we'll check that out too.

Also, add another player down, friend of mine just got hit with the patch thing on his ps4 as well.

So far I've lost out on early access entirely, and have wasted three days of my sub (days that I have off, for once, and would actually have spent a lot of time in-game).

damn, a moment of silence for him my friend. Even my gf, she's almost done with her first time. Reason its just her first time was only because she was able to dodge the power outages thanks to her work schedule. Luck had to run out. I don't usually have any problems with release days, but let me tell you that this is by far the worse I'VE ever gotten to a game's release. Absolutely unacceptable game breaking bug on a game launcher at that just makes things twice as bad.

I left my PS4 downloading the patch last night and after checking out this morning I have to download everything again.

I have had to download it twice now and I'm quite sad when you hear of people already at 70 and doing EX Primals and here most of us can't even get in the game, and to top it off my Digital Version isn't even registered to my account in the Mogstation, it just shows a circle by Early Access (not that I got to actually play due to downloading), and shows BUY under Stormblood.
