22.7gb update after relogging?

Come on staff, if posts are bein deleted, that means someone is reading this. I know there is a lot of other problems, but can someone at least say "we see the problem and will investigate?"

How has everyone's power gone out before this happened? I had my PS4 in rest mode overnight, woke up and it was off even though my sis' PS4 in the same room was fine, though she turned it off overnight. She didn't have this update and was able to just sign in. This seems fishy to me... Maybe being connected while in rest mode, the update ping caused the system to crash. But then why wouldn't it affect one that's all the way off? This isn't right.

The problem is not the power. There is ppl here telling that even only loggin off trigger the redownload. I'm afraid of just closing the game and turning off the ps4 and have to download all over again. =/

I am from South Africa. Unfortunately, power outages are still a common occurrence for me.

I was still in the game when the power went off (Fringes completing FATES). So it may be a data corruption issue, BUT I have never had this problem during my whole time with ARR or HW despite also experiencing power outages while being logged in the game.

I was not in rest mode when the power outage occurred - but it seems some people on PS4 are experiencing this issue even when legitimately logging out of the PS4 and logging back in. I have just downloaded the 22gb update - waiting in the queue. I don't want to have to go through this painful experience again. Does anyone know whether this issue is being looked into? I know that there are other important issues plaguing early access right now, but it would be nice to know that this has at least been flagged for investigation.

I know the feeling... My city is "growing" really fast and I also have a lot of power outages, cause the expansion of the electric power lines... Is terrible...

I am having this issue as well. This did not happen yesterday whenever I logged out or even when my power briefly went out during a storm last night. I turned off my PS4 overnight and now this morning I have to wait 530+ minutes while it patches. :/

same thing just happened to me on BOTH my PS4s, both were running stormblood "fine" and when i went to log back in bam, 22.7 GB download. on BOTH CONSOLES.

So then could it be an account wide issue? That's even stranger. Has anyone else had account wide problems with this?
