He means take off the auto renew, SE would have metrics for that, if they see the line going up then they would see our thoughts better then the forum staff saying "uhhh the bug report post is at 18 pages....". After all they made this for a profit so any possible loss of revenue would be taken more seriously then feedback.

That being said, Yoshi-P made 2 posts 8 hours apart in the am and pm of japan time, I don't think he has slept since launch and the lack of updates just means they don't want to try to explain the situation in full until they can guarantee a fix. All they have done so far is post about trying to keep the servers from crashing at the very least.

I am guessing this caught them off guard (I am a developer as well, you can't always catch every possibility in testing), and they want to avoid a patch solution and instead implement a full solution that will prevent this in the future.

Toxic environment in game because everybody is frustrated and depressed; can't progress, at this point being in game doing anything is just soul-crushing. I fully regret being mentally, emotionally and financially invested in this game at all currently. To be honest I don't know if I even feel the same way about the game I used to. I can't believe I paid to be this disappointed.

i wouldn't go that far yet, give them a chance they have been honest and straightforward with us so far(From ARR time their past conduct, words and actions), just waiting on them to do the same here

No, I agree with Iskaral, if people cancel their subs then the congestion will die down and I'll be able to progress.

I love this game so much, but this issue has really killed my hype. I want to do the MSQ first and foremost before anything else. So while I KNOW there's other stuff I could be doing... I don't want to do those things. Lol

Prob with that is at that stage there's nothing to do, can level up doh and dol but u will get stuck eventually, only other thing is fate but when there's too many ppl it starts to bug out ie odin fate in the past, df does not work that much, unless spam dungeons for what everyone is stuck at the instance, i get what u guys are saying but evenb if they havent come up with a solution any information is better than no information

do we have news from them? we really should get free playtime, it's pathetic now...its been more than 24h live...and if it's really a congestion problem with the number of instances, the design was poorly made.

Another sad tale of SE underestimating the hype and everybody loses.

But if I'm to be honest, I'm more fed up with the players that spam the quest than the developers for this. It's clear that the problem is that too many people try to enter the quest. A good number of people tried to fix this problem by making a virtual line, but far too many either don't listen or feel entitled to be first, resulting in a legion of brain-dead monkeys spamming the instance and not realizing that they are trying to put out the fire with gasoline.
