Going in to test this - I'm not in a congested area, or at the very least it should be far less congested than The Fringe. (RDM 50 quest that's instanced, in Eastern Thanalan)

i agree people just need to calm down. Just give it few days and it go smoother. not their fault thousands of people just jump on story line and over load instance servers. it happens, and don't say get more servers and that cause it just not cost acceptable unless you want to be charged even more for access and hardware that only be used once and a great while. People will spread out over next week and this issue be gone. i mean really we are the only issue with this 1 million people jump on and try to do same quest. it to be expected there to be delays and lines waiting to get in. Just think of it like black Friday lol thousands storm stores and only few lucky people get the goods deal and get in and out right way while everyone else is pushing and shoving ways thur to make it out alive.

It's been 20 hours I do apologize if my patience is a bit thin. Especially with Square just doing fuck all and the only 2 times they've communicated with the player base is where sorry and come back later cause our servers are shit. They could take the whole thing down and fix it but noooo, this is honestly there way of fucking the player base and getting a free beta test out of the player base while constantly saying yea where trying to fix our fuckin shit.

This guy gets it, its the player bases fault who the fuck do we think we are for buying a product and than trying to use said product as intend. Square was right all along, hey Yoshi-P might as well retract both your response to this shit excuse of a EA, cause its the players fault its our burden to bear. Square can just go home now.

Sorry but they're not working on anything. Their last update they just posted to the lodestone says "We're happy to announce that we've resolved the network issues". Guess what, it's still guaranteed 90k when queuing for anything, solo instance or DF, all dungeons, PotD, job quests, everything. Followed by the endless loop of login queue to 90k on load. Nothing is working properly.

How in you right mind would taking down servers help? Really this game runs very very smooth and is very quick to fix bugs and issues. It clear you have not even a simple understanding whats going on here. as time passes people will pass thru the funnel and move on. i bet there like 500 people or more per min going thru this funnel that's like good count just got to wait for the flow to suck you thru. Go play with hour glass and imagine your the last grain of sand going thru.
