Can't change character name

Uh, anyone bought a name change recently and have this problem?

I bought a name change for my main- but on the character select screen, when I try to right-click > change name, I get the message 'A name change is required to log in with this character'- yes, alright, but there is no prompt whatsoever to change my name. Nothing popping up except for that message. I had tried restarting the game over and over again and right-click > change name, still no go.

And now I can't login into my main to enjoy sb... >:

I tried clicking change name again!! It worked for me this time

Having the same issue. Spoke with Square Enix Support earlier. They said wait until servers aren't as congested then try to log in and name change...

It's Balmung LOL they will be congested the whole weekend. Won't even be able to play until next week. Lovely

It's ridiculous because I decided to name change to have a little fun since the MSQ is gated by server capacity. Now I can't even play the game to fate grind myself to death.
