Is anything being done to work on this? Its been almost 30 hours since we got an update on this issue. No one is able to get through on Gilgamesh. Doesn't matter what time of day.

Itd be nice to get an update or even an eta saying this will be fixed in a few days so i can stop wasting my time spamming raubahn hoping to get in i cant play the game i payed for this is unacceptable square

I don't complain about tech issues and soft launch problems much. I realize there will always be some technical issue when launching a new expansion for a popular online game, this isn't new.

But... Any other MMO would have performed an emergency maintenance to implement some sort of temporary solution to fix the bottleneck issue, the fact almost nothing has been said or done is killin' Stormblood for some. I even anticipated that the initial wave of players starting early access would cause issues so I went and unlocked Red Mage and leveled it up instead while waiting for the first few waves of players rushing through the story to finish. Two days later I'm 60 and figure "Okay, these problems can't be so bad now right? They've had so long to fix it, surely something has been done to improve the situation."

Nothin' ... I am disappointed in you, FFXIV. I am disappointed in you more than I have been with any other MMO or online game, because I expected better from you and you let me down.

At 645am still no one can get through on Mateus! If my little server has this problem I don't even want to think how bad it is on the high population servers.

3rd day I've tried to get on at some odd hour, but it still doesn't work anywhere from 2 to 5 AM in the morning.

This is not a professional way to handle a major problem. Square Enix should at the least release regular updates on what is being done to rectify this situation. I feel bad for all those subscribers standing there continuesly spamming a button and watching the same old cutscene in hopes of progressing along the MSQ which FFXIV game is centered around . Days after it started it is not getting any better but seems to be worsening.

At around 7:30 AM (eastern) everyone suddenly cleared out and it's working. There was only 1 other person at Raubahn when I logged on and checked at about 7:45. Apparently they opened it back up around 7:30.
