Error 2002, NA data centers only, followed sticky in resolved

As I said in the title, I followed all the directions in the resolved issues forum for error 2002, even though I've been playing for years without needing to do that. I have been trying for the better part of 5 hours now to log in to the US data centers both by clicking start, and by using the data center button and selecting the one I'm on. I've gotten 2002 errors unable to connect to lobby every time. I connect quickly and effortlessly to the EU data center and all 3 Japanese data centers.

I've checked my router firmware, I've restart my modem/router/pc, I've hardwired into the modem, I did a tracert to the data center and had no issues at all, I just can't seem to get connected. I'd appreciate any further suggestions.

Exactly the same problem as OP - has been persisting since just after midnight Wednesday (6/14)

Bumping in hopes that someone can help. 36 hours later and I still can't connect to the server.

there aint no fixes right now. cant you read the massive amounts of threads with problems? This is all SE server issues, and there's nothing you can actually do.

The ton of threads on this issue are 900002 or another one once they're in the data center. I'm not seeing any other threads calling out this issue specifically. Tons of issues with instancing in game, not so many connecting to data centers.

Update: I was running a tracert on the wrong IP from the move last month. I tried 204.2.229.9 and .10 and this is my tracert - http://imgur.com/a/0Mn4j . Apparently my data is getting to Chicago then never moving out of there.

I have also run into the same error and now cannot log into the game on the Primal datacenter.
