Because of NA being on 7 time zones + a large EU base, there is no non-peak hours on Aether...

At the 48 hour mark, I would just like to say that I've "waited" and "done other things" hoping that this problem would blow over. It hasn't. I'm frustrated and I feel like I now have a reason to be. I'm done waiting and doing other things, I'm ready to play the game that I bought. And I too find it interesting that people like Mr Happy and other big name streamers had zero trouble with this (supposedly). At what point does it become ok to be upset and demand some sort of solution other than "please wait and try again later"?

Yeah. If they insist on making use of forced bottlenecks then I doubt we're going to see an improvement for quite some time. At this rate things won't be fixed until well after launch because on Aether there's always going to be a significant number of players trying to get past the solo instances no matter the hour. If the servers cannot handle the strain then they simply need to come out and admit it...not wait for the issue to resolve itself because it clearly isn't improving on the NA datacentres.

Btw, I have given names to the random npcs that show up during the cinematic, the one guy standing behind us with a strange mustache is called Fernando, the one on his side is his best buddy Ferdinando, the garleans left to right are called Bob, Thompson, Bryan, Abram and Larry, Thompson and Larry are always picking up fights because Larry has a third nipple, Bryan and Larry are gay twins from different fathers. We are best buddies now.

SE you have let us all down with this horrible bottleneck! now i cant even log on because there are to many people on my server(coeurl) thx SE. wish you would have only made balmung and gilgamesh servers suffer with the congested server.
