I so wish I could wait until the servers come back up to say this but, the proof is right there in the Patch Notes.

You Broke Scholar

At the end of 3.X all of the healers were in a good place, White Mage was the only one that needed a little attention. But with these new updates, you didn't help WHM and you broke SCH. PLUS, you buffed AST so much its ridicules. It's just absurd. You killed a Job that needed nothing, just a few new skills to go with the expansion. At the moment I and a lot of Scholar mains are just outright pissed. We were optimistic that what we saw from the media tour wasn't 100%. Well with the official Patch Notes and the new Job explanations, we see that SCH got hit harder than we thought it would have.

They nerfed our MP restoration, they nerfed our AoE, they nerfed our healing output, and the new adjustments add nothing new to the job, it actually removes from it. The Fairy Guage isn't usable until 70, if we could use it at 30 maybe it might be useful, but nope. Excognition sounded great when we first heard about it, but it has a time limit; why would we waste and Aetherflow stack on a heal that might never happen. I personally didn't do the math, but Chain Strategem apparently is worse than we initially thought, cool idea, poor execution. And why nerf us AND our fairy, a fairy nerf we could maybe understand. Hey if all you did was nerf Embrace's potency but increased or supplemented ours, okay, mildly upsetting, but its not a bad trade off. Nope, Fairy sorta sucks now too. you actually created a worst micro managing system, way to go.

They didn't even address the skills that needed addressing, Silent Dusk, Dissipation, and slight adjustments to Deployment Tactics. granted WHM isn't that great either but at least what we saw was "changed" SCH's got it so much worse. And AST, WHAT THE HELL. They can now do a 300 potency attack or a 540 potency heal every 5 seconds.... 5 SECONDS!!! Their shields are better, they now have more healing output since Diurnal is a potency boost over a speed boost. And while Aspected Benefic might of seen an MP increase, I bet it'll be no where near as high as Adloquim; which is not instant, and now will suck even if it crits, "but we can spread it" yeah and how often will we be able to spread the Critlo. Oh, and since we lost Leeches, you'd think they'd give us a new level 40 Skill, nothing, the other healers have a trait and a skill, SCH got nothing. Guess I wont touch SCH again until 5.0 when they decide to fix it. Now instead of Fix SMN thread it'll be Fix SCH threads. And I plan on supporting Every one.

Edit 2: Someone pointed out that the 5 second thing is incorrect. you need a card to get those effects so it would be 30s not 5, but still that is quite a bit of power. I have crossed it off of my "rant"
