screens are too small (ps4)

I dont know if this issue has already been reported, but since the new update the main screen and ingame layout is way too smal tho the HUD hasn't been changed.
I already heard that many players have this issue so it would be nice if SE can change it back to normal if they have the time to

Can you provide a screenshot or two to show us what you mean, or is the screen in general smaller than the display's native output?

Yeah it has. Whats your TV size? My wifes got the same problem with a small tv so if i find a soultion to make it bigger ill post it

Got the same problem. The HUD is normal. But UI such "main menu" , npc chat is shrinked.. had to move my big tv bit closer.

I suggest changing the text font size in the settings. Under Character Settings, navigate to the chat settings tab and change the font size for each text window.

You can also get to the appropriate settings by clicking the gear to the bottom-right of the chat window.

Another player found a hidden fix to the specific issue of the NPC dialog box (though it doesn't solve the issue for the PS4 main menu):

This can be fixed by going into Ground Mouse Mode (L1 + R3) with a dialog box open and then move your mouse over the dialog box, hold down R2, then go to Scale Window (have to keep R2 held down) and use L2 to select the size you want (I put it at 120%) and looks good. You can also adjust the position of the dialog box after changing the size using the same steps and clicking on the box and dragging it around.

It's an awkward and obsucre fix, but it works at least for that part. (140% will put the dialog box back to what had been normal before the update).

I am having the same issue on the PS4. Main HUB is fine, Log on screen, main menu and NPC chat bubble all have extremely small font. Almost like the screen resolution changed and got bigger.

Same issue here if you try to change the main setting to 150% all character names npc names and all other tags become so big they take over your screen. Please please just change this back to how it was
