PS4 Pro for those without 4k TV's

I saw something about an option to have a constant 60fps with ps4 pro. Going by the patch notes is this just active by default if you don't select the 4k mode? I'm not seeing an option to select for it.

I'm confused about this myself. The way it is worded it sounds like the 4k (on 4k TV) is the only Pro enhancement - surely this isn't correct with all the discussion prior to Stormblood about the addition 1080p Pro modes that favour either resolution or FPS.

That is a very good question. My guess if you do not have a 4K tv the option may be greyed out or not even there.
ESO was like that until i actually did get a 4K TV.
I would be willing to wager the higher framerate will be default.

If i read it right the got rid of the old default setting n replaced it with the mentioned 1.. with an option for 4k if got compatible tv

for 1080p user with PS4 Pro we set it at "PS4" setting 60fps not "PS4 pro" setting. pro setting is for 4k Tv/4k monitor
