Hi guys,
I'm new to this game and wanted to play as Healer. Now with all the changes in 4.0 I just dont know if I should go with WHM or change to SCH and then play until I reach lvl 50 for AST?
Now I ask you If you could help me with the decision ?

WHM is a very powerful and straightforward healer (with strong healer DPS too!), so it's a good choice to start healing with.Any issues it has only concern future raid content at level 70.
I recommend Sch then when you're able play AST, SCH before 4.0 was amazing now it leans towards more of the healing side besides dpsing. But Sch is still amazing job tbh especially with the fact you have your pet that can heal for you without MP. But warning, it's more of a defensive healer getting ready for big attacks instead of reacting to them. So it can be considered a job that requires a lot of practice and multitasking.
All of thee recommendations are past tense since 4.0 started. My suggestion do pld and lvl to 50, then pick up Ast after entering ishgard and who knows maybe you like being a tank, if that's the case you can keep on leveling since pld with 4.0 is back to being amazing. At least if u then level both classes to 70 and would like to raid, you should have no problem getting into statics, with WHM and SCH I wouldn't be so sure about that, unless we are seeing extreme quality patches and hotfix made towards both classes throughout 4.x
