i just manually set my tv for now
I like the change
The menu size is the biggest problem for me. I have difficulty viewing text on a screen at the best of times but at least as it was before it was big enough to read things. Changing the UI setting to 150% doesn't help - as other have said it makes the menu and dialogue readable but the clutter from character and npc names etc is too much.
Can we please have a way to revert the menu back to the size it was before the change, at the very least. This is going to be very difficult to play with and I'm not going wreck my eyesight straining to read such tiny text.

If you have a mouse it's possible to fix the NPC text size!! Right-click on the speech bubble and choose "scale window" -> 140 or 120%!
Doesn't fix the main menu problem, but helps for now.
Do like OP said: Go to System Configuration -> Display Settings -> User Interface Size 150%
But ALSO set Default UI size to 90% and press Apply to all.
Doing so still makes the names and chat bar ridiculously large. SE please fix this ASAP.
Names are WAY too big. Had to used the 150% since text and menu with glasses on the struggle was real. after resizing everything name size is a nightmare friends names are huge even my own. i normally play with names off just friends show up. >< even with that talking to friend in game their name was crowding the screen. names even get larger when zoomed out.
The dialogue boxes in this game have always been absurdly tiny with no way (that I know of) to adjust them, which is really odd considering nearly just about every other piece of the UI is adjustable.
I posted above how you can enlarge them, either use USB mouse or enable the touchpad mouse. Right-click on the dialogue box and choose "scale window".
It doesn't help with the menu size, but it makes reading the dialogue text easy.
