I can confirm that once you level sync, ability switches automatically from Bio II to Bio. No need to put both on hotbar.
Hmm would be interessting if this auto-downscale (in general) also works in macros or if you have to put both (or all) of them into it with kinda of "if-than" tag... : o
I'd repeat that you're basing this off level 60, and that the real place to see if things are balanced is level 70, but I'd wager you're too busy complaining to realize that.
yeah im really looking forward the worlds firsts experience in a serious raid setup but that will take a bit of time - everything else is just a "first impression" - it's way to early to judge anything yet ^^

Well... I fail to see how this is going to change much.
At best... all of the higher level abilities only bring it up to the level of damage it was already doing at level 60 previously. And even then, Ruin 4 only has a 15% chance to proc... So you're still stuck at below level 60 damage for the most part.
So it would mean SMN is stuck at level 60 damage while all the other jobs are at level 70 damage.
The Bahamut pet COULD have made up for it but you only get it for 20 seconds every 3minutes... you'll basically be doing nerfed damage the rest of the time.
You are Blm now get outta here :3
Do you not remember the difference between level 40 and level 50? Or level 30 and level 40?
You don't have your entire kit for level 70, you don't have the gear available at that point, and you're not fighting the enemies nor doing dungeons/raids at level 70...
So judging how balanced the class will be (or won't be) at level 70 based on your experience at level 60 is either naive or willfully ignorant.

Far to earlier to judge the class at level 70 without any of the skill/ traits gained from 60-70. The Ruin Mastery trait alone may be a noticeable boost to overall damage.
Wait for it... wait for it... just wait for it :3
