My lighting software seems to stop working when FFXIV is full screen and the lighting on my keyboard stops working.....only some keys are lighting up....when I minimize the game lighting software resumes working as normal.

Politicians are a lot like diapers - they should be changed often and for the same reason.
May want to post it here and make it a megathread for it:

I am having trouble with SB and the G910 as well. My software keeps working (newest version), but i too only have a few keys lighting up in horrible colors. Even setting the software to "use standard profile" only doesn't help.
What the hell did you do? There is no setting to be found in the game for this...

Had this problem too at first but quick fix
1.open Logitech gaming software
2.press the gear button (settings) thats on the bottom right hand side of software
3.under options go to game integration
4. un-click the "allow games to control illumination"
Omg you are my hero! Thanks!!
lol no worries
You're my hero as well, thank you <3
Glad that i could help =)
Even though we found a temp fix thanks to Catchow i would like to push this up again. This needs to be fixed by SE. There are other games that actually need the different key colors and i don't wanna turn the option to let the game control the LED's on and off and on and off every day. Please look into this SE!
I had the same issue. With Stormblood, Square introduced a logitech applet for FF14. To resolve this issue follow these steps for a permanent solution. changing the setting in the settings window is only temporary in my experience as it resets itself when starting the game up again
1) make sure you logitech gaming software is up to date
2) open the software and where the devices are listed, scroll till you find the icon of a keyboard with what looks like a smartphone on it's side. This is the applet screen
3) select the ff14 applet in the left window
4) in the right window uncheck the box next to LED backlighting.
